Ouidah

Ouidah is a place steeped in history: the Slave Route and the Door of No Return, the Temple of Pythons, the sacred forest of Kpassè, and a living Vodun heritage that resonates far beyond Benin. Each year, the city becomes an international stage during the festival devoted to Vodun cultures.

Here we produce memory documentaries, heritage films, coverage of cultural events and content for tourism and institutions. Our documentary practice and our demand for accuracy are essential here: in Ouidah, images touch the intimate and the sacred, and must be handled with respect and rigour.

Less than an hour from our Cotonou base, we work in Ouidah with responsiveness, to tell the story of a city that links Africa and the world.
